thats definitly true...but its not complete....i dont want a person to come into my life and ruin it, right? Life changes definitly, but u never know that the person u are letting in can change your life for good or bad.

Dude, you are right you never know whether the change is for good or bad. All the tag said was it can CHANGE your Life!, its upto the person to handle the change;)

Its the same tipping point by Malcom Goldwell... :) I have read it, its nice but I get irritated by the lengthy statistical proof he gives for everything.

Its written for a western audience, but I dint need that. I could instantly get what he is saying.

Vasu, I finsihed Chapter 1 from 'The Tipping Point' & was bored by his statistical proof. I guess he cld have cut down on some occasions, sometimes he repeats them over & over.

Interesting quote Viv and totally true. I've read a book that once said there are three things that can change your life- the people you meet, the places you've been to and the books you've read. I agree on all three counts.

was about to pick up The Tipping Point...but maybe not anymore.

See ya around Viv.

hi, i think thats a very meaning ful quote bt then its also incomplete. nt everybody who gets into ur life and change ur life....the onw who gets in ur life and understands what its all about can only bring about a change!!

Hey Nat!

All the 3 things you have mentioned - the people around us & whom we interact on day-2-day basis, the books we read & the journey one undertakes - surely has an impact on us.

BTW the book 'The Tipping Point' is an interesting one for those who like to understand the social behavior patterns, theories & stuff.....the only part I dislike is Mr Gladwell who likes to feed the audience too much of statistics. Nat, I hope u wld change your decision on going for the book.

Hi! Diana,

Thanks! for dropping by & leaving your footprint. Yes, the quote is incomplete; I feel the quote was meant to be incomplete, change is the only thing that is constant in everyone's life.

I think the quote is perfectly complete in it's implications. I mean, we do not need to spell out every possibility, do we? this is the very point of being profound... say as much as you can in as few words as possible... the rest is IMPLIED! :)

(quite unlike this reply... ahhahahahhahahah)
